Indian health Organisation (IHO)

IHO is the directing and managing authority for health in the Indian subcontinent. It is accountable for providing management on global health matters, determining the health research programme, setting norm and principles, articulating ethical and evidence-based policy options, providing technical support, catalysing change, and building sustainable institutional capacity, monitoring and measuring health trends.

Providing control on matters critical to health and provides customized support to countries through technical programmes address a wide range of public health issues.
